one day, everyone will have always been against this

power has no loyalty to its own rules. morality, law, and language are simply tools, deployed when useful and discarded when inconvenient.
the west exports the idea of freedom while importing the profits of its denial. empathizing with the distant oppressed while benefiting from the systems that oppress them is not contradiction so much as it is the function. resistance is terrorism until enough time passes for it to become heroism.
words follow power, not truth. what is unspeakable now becomes obvious in hindsight, once the comfortable are safe enough to care. everyone will eventually claim they were against it.
the system sustains itself on a collective tolerance for worse, and withdrawing that tolerance is the only language it understands.
